At the end of 2020, during a time when the world was gripped by the uncertainty of the pandemic, we, Alex and Alina, decided to follow our passion and launch The Alex Travel—a travel agency exclusively dedicated to ultra-luxury experiences. But our story actually began many years before, and each step has been a building block in creating this dream.

Alex’s Experience and the Beginnings of the Business.

With over 11 years of experience in the airline industry, Alex worked for one of the most prestigious airline companies, where he gained valuable knowledge and a keen sense of excellence. However, in 2015, after a period of reflection, he felt that his job no longer brought him the satisfaction he was looking for. It was a turning point, and he decided to leave the security of that role to open his own business.

This marked the birth of his first travel agency, primarily focused on OBC (onboard courier) services and corporate travel. Until 2020, the business was mainly OBC-oriented, with about 20% of its activities dedicated to corporate tourism.

The Shift to a Super-Luxury Travel Agency and New Vision

The pandemic in 2020 brought the business to a critical point, with only three invoices issued in an entire year, and uncertainty was growing. In that difficult moment, we had the idea to transform the agency and focus exclusively on ultra-luxury tourism. This is how The Alex Travel was born.

Since May 2021, we have been traveling monthly to personally experience hotels, restaurants, and activities before recommending them to our clients. Each trip is an opportunity to enrich our knowledge and discover details that will turn our clients’ vacations into unforgettable experiences.

Alina - The Creative Soul Behind The Alex Travel

I, Alina, am exclusively responsible for social media and content creation. From the very beginning, I came up with the idea to build a community on Instagram and niche our agency in the luxury segment. Every post, every story, and every detail is carefully designed to bring our experiences to life and inspire people to dream about fabulous destinations.

Traveling as a Family - With Our Most Honest Critic

Most of the time, we travel with our daughter, Anam, who is our biggest critic when it comes to hotels. She notices every little detail and is always sincere in sharing her opinions about the places we stay! In this way, our experiences are not only tested for adult clients but also for those traveling with the entire family.
